The Golden Hope International Foundation’s Mobile Medication Bank initiative, has been making waves in rural communities, reaching out to Health Centers to provide essential medications and medical supplies to various health facilities. This initiative has been a beacon of hope for the vulnerable population who often struggle to access affordable healthcare medications.
Today, March 24, 2026, the Mobile Medication Bank team led by Rev Fr. Peter Claver Ohaeri, Director for partnership and resources Mobilization, took a significant step forward. Visit was made to two clinics in Ezinihitte Mbaise L.G.A of Imo State namely: Omukwu and Ekeoha Health Centers as part of its first quarter activity.

The team successfully supplied the clinics with a range of over-the-counter medications and medical supplies, including:
– Robitussin nighttime cough (MD) – 110 bottles
– Robitussin Long-acting cough – 36 bottles
– B-12 vitamin – 16 bottles
– Guaifenesin – 20 bottles
– Vaseline healing jelly – 20 pieces
– Advantage gauzes – 4 packs
– Nexcare big and small bandages – 12 packs
– Zinco plasters – 5 pieces
– 3M surgical mask – 6 packs
– 3M nose masks – 4 packs
– Nitrile gloves – 4 packs

Joyfully and thankfully so, the team witnessed firsthand, the impact of this initiative, as a visiting patient, who couldn’t afford proper cough medication was treated with the donated meds on ground.
The two clinics expressed their profound gratitude for the support, noting that these medications will reach the vulnerable persons for which they were intended. They also assured the team that they would provide the foundation with data on how the medications were distributed.

The Mobile Medication Bank team is committed to continuing this initiative and to reach out to more health centers with health care supplies in underserved communities.
God bless you all!
